MGC Officer's Cap Badge

A rare, hallmarked silver, cap badge for an officer of The Machine Gun Corps with three blade fastenings (north, east and west). As KK1154.

The reverse is marked B&P, for manufacturer Bent & Parker, and G&S Co, 112 Regent St, W for retailer Goldsmiths' & Silversmiths' Company. It carries hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling silver, 1918.

Note: This is the small, collar-sized badge - approximately 40mm wide x 30mm tall.
