Dublin Militia Glengarry Badge

A rare, white metal, glengarry badge for The Queen’s Own Royal Dublin City Militia with two lug fastenings (north and south - the south lug looks to have been repaired). Worn circa 1874-81. KK1278.

Note: This unit became the 4th (militia) battalion of The Royal Dublin Fusiliers in 1881.
