RJLI Officer's Cap/Collar Badge

A rare and attractive, gilt, cap/collar badge for The Royal Jersey Light Infantry (Militia) with two lug fastenings (north and south).

The http://www.jerseymilitia.co.uk/jliqvc.html states these badges were worn from 1895.

Note: The lugs are relatively short, which suggests this is more likely a collar badge.
