Militia Artillery Officer's HP

A nice, gilt, helmet plate for an officer of The Militia Artillery with two lug fastenings (east and west). There is a support to the back of the crown. KK812.

Note: Head-dress Badges of The British Army Volume 1, by Arthur Kipling & Hugh King, says the title changed Artillery Militia to Militia Artillery in 1891.
