9th HLI Officer's Glengarry Badge

A rare, silver and gilt, glengarry badge for an officer of the 9th (territorial) battalion of The Highland Light Infantry (The Glasgow Highlanders) with two lug fastenings (east and west). The reverse bears a plaque for retailer Wm Anderson & Sons, Military Outfitters, Edinburgh. KK1752.
