Y/Essex Shoulder Title

A brass shoulder title for The Essex Yeomanry with two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west). As Westlake 348/Woods 48.

Note: This title is mentioned in Ray Westlake's book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles (page 29 of the second edition) but not illustrated.

Michael Wood's book on The Badges and Insignia of the Essex Yeomanry says this title was believed to have only been worn at annual camp in 1921.
