IOW RV Glengarry Badge

A rare, blackened brass, glengarry badge for The Isle of Wight Rifle Volunteers with two lug fastenings (east and west - possibly repaired/replacements?). Approximately 60mm high x 42mm wide. Woods 6.4.

Note: Terence Woods, in his book on The Military Insignia of Hampshire and The Isle of Wight, dates this badge to circa 1860-85.

There appears to be a slight edge knock around 6 o'clock.
