MGC OSD Collar Badge

A scarce, officer's service dress, bronzed collar badge for The Machine Gun Corps with a single lug fastening. The reverse is marked for manufacturer J.R. Gaunt London. As Churchill & Westlake 391.

Note: This is a small-sized collar badge at approximately 21mm wide x 18mm tall.

It looks as though there were originally two lugs (east and west) or this collar has been cast from an example with two lugs.
