A rare, hallmarked silver, arm badge for a non-commissioned officer of The 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) with three lug fastenings (north, east and west) and a black felt backing. Linaker & Dine 11.2A.

The reverse carries (somewhat polished) marks for R&W (manufacturer Reynolds & Westwood?), Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1896?
