RE Ed7th Cap Badge

A scarce, Edward 7th pattern, brass cap badge for The Royal Engineers with two lug fastenings (east and west). KK852.

Note: This style of badge, with the voids between the laurel spray and the garter, are usually worn by officers - either in gilt or bronze. This is perhaps a badge that has lost its original plating.

There is a small knick to the Royal Engineers scroll.
