A rare and attractive silver, gilt and enamel, helmet plate for an officer of The Sherwood Foresters (The Derbyshire Regiment) with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). As KK259.

Note: This plate has had some repair work done, including 'touching up' the blue enamel.
