ROC Cap Badge

A later pattern, white metal, cap badge for The Royal Observer Corps with two lug fastenings (east and west).

Note: The badge is mounted on a tartan backing, which has been sewn into place - I didn't undo it to take a photo of the rear but there is a split pin between two lugs there.

This unit received the Royal title in 1941.
