105th Lanarkshire RV Officer's Glengarry Badge

A rare and impressive, silver-plated, officer's glengarry badge for the 105th Lanarkshire (Glasgow Highlanders) Rifle Volunteers with two long loop fastenings (pinched). Worn c1868-80. Bloomer, book 1, p60.

Note: Bloomer says this badge was also worn on the sporran. The book warns not to mistake this badge for the "Company Badge of the Royal Scots" (illustrated on p8, with a different spelling of the motto, which it translates as "Highlanders Shoulder to Shoulder").
