RE/R. Anglesey Shoulder Title

A scarce, brass, two-piece shoulder title for The Royal Anglesey Royal Engineers (Militia) with two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west) on each piece. Westlake 522.

Note: The west lug on the R. Anglesey piece is a fairly crude replacement. Some verdigris.

Westlake states "The Royal Anglesey and Royal Monmouth units (of militia Engineers) were the only ones to survive the reorganisation of 1908. Their post-1908 shoulder titles were R. Anglesey and R. Monmouth... worn with the separate RE above."
