Cameronians Piper's Glengarry Badge

A white metal glengarry badge for a piper of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) with a pin fastening (north-south). Gaylor plate 26.

Note: This is the smaller pattern at approximately 65mm wide x 45mm tall, which Gaylor states was worn by the 1st battalion circa 1860-1921.

The fastening looks like a modification from the usual long slider fastening. I would say this was done at the time of wear although it could be a later adjustment.
