4th-6th Northumberland OSD Cap Badge

A rare, bronzed, officer's service dress for the 4th, 5th and 6th (territorial) battalions of The Northumberland Fusiliers with two blade fastenings (east and west, one a replacement). KK1700 or Wood 211 (207 in the first edition).

Note: In The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badges, Colonel Denis Wood dates this badge to circa 1908-24, although a footnote states "photographs show a few officers still wearing them up to 1934".
