The reverse bears hallmarks for JRG&S (manufacturer J.R. Gaunt & Sons), Birmingham, sterling silver and the capital letter X (with serif) for 1972.

Note: Churchill states "although manufactured it is doubtful if they were ever worn due to the amalgamation of the regiment in 1959".

Note: Westlake states this battalion was raised in 1915 as the 2nd Bradford (service) battalion (Bradford Pals) and disbanded in 1918. This short-lived unit was part of Kitchener's Army.  read more
