A brass collar badge for Imperial Yeomanry cadets with two lug fastenings (east and west). Some discolouration. This is the small version at approximately 29mm x 29mm.

A scarce, white metal, helmet plate for The Cambridge University Volunteer Rifle Corps with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). KK1811.

Note: In issue 280 of The Military Historical Society's Bulletin, Nicholas Berwick states this helmet plate came into use after 1892 and the unit's helmet was superseded by the slouch hat in 1901 (see page 176/177, reference 7).  read more
