A scarce, white metal, collar badge for The 77th Foot (later 2nd battalion of The Middlesex Regiment) with two lug fastenings (north and south). As Churchill 1438.

A rare, hallmarked silver, cap badge for an officer of The Machine Gun Corps with three blade fastenings (north, east and west). As KK1154.

The reverse is marked B&P, for manufacturer Bent & Parker, and G&S Co, 112 Regent St, W for retailer Goldsmiths' & Silversmiths' Company. It carries hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling silver, 1918.
