Victorian BW Officer's WBC
A rare ,silver and gilt, waist-belt clasp for an officer of The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment). The reverse is stamped for manufacturer R&HB Kirkwood, 66 & 68 Thistle St, Edinr. The female loop is absent.
Note: Robert & Henry Bruce Kirkwood were silversmiths operating at 66 & 68 Thistle Street, Edinburgh, in the late 19th century. read more
