Note: Ray Westlake, in his book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, states this battalion was recognised in 1911 and had its headquarters in Pond St, Hampstead.  read more

A rare, brass, shoulder title for the Hampshire (territorial) battery of The Royal Horse Artillery with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). Westlake 590 or Woods 5.17.

Note: Terence Woods, in his book on The Military Insignia of Hampshire and The Isle of Wight 1702-1992, states the Hampshire battery of RHA was formed in Southampton in 1909, with this title worn until 1921.  read more

Note: Ray Westlake, in his book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, states the 4th cadet battalion was recognised in 1919 but the Territorial Force withdrew its recognition in 1921.  read more
