Dartford Grammar School Cap Badge

A nice, white metal, cap badge for The Dartford Grammar School Officer Training Corps with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). Cox 1833.

Note: I confess I find these badges quite confusing, with similar items worn by The Kent Cyclist Battalion (KK1867), The West Kent Yeomanry (KK1459) and other Kent-based units, along with non-military organisations.

Cox identifies this particular pattern of badge as worn by Dartford Grammar School. Rawlings, reference 569, describes a badge to this unit as "The White Horse of Kent", although it is not illustrated.

Code: 56227

40.00 GBP

Code: 56226
