A scarce brass shoulder title for the 16th battalion of The West Yorkshire Regiment with two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west) and its backplate intact. Westlake 888.
Note: Westlake states this battalion was raised in 1914 as the 1st Bradford (service) battalion (Bradford Pals) and disbanded in 1918. This short-lived unit was part of Kitchener's Army. read more
