A gilt last pattern shako plate for an officer of The 53rd Foot (later 1st battalion of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry) with two lug fastenings (east and west). Worn c1869-78. As KK180.

A post-1902, brass, helmet plate for The Somersetshire Light Infantry with two staple-style loops on the backing plate and all four intact on the centre (two of them perhaps repaired?). KK358/302.
