9th London FS Cap/Collar Badge

A scarce, brass, cap badge for the 9th battalion of The London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles) with two lug fastenings (north and south) and a red felt backing. Approximately 26mm tall x 16mm wide. As KK2407 or Churchill 1943.

Note: Kipling & King shows this style of badge and describes it as an officer's item (in silver or blackened brass) for wear on a red cord boss.
