A very rare, (unmarked) silver, cap badge for an officer of The Border Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Worn c1902-05 only. KK644.

Note: This is the smaller version, similar to the Victorian version, worn until the badge was enlarged to add the Relief of Ladysmith honour to the bottom arm of the cross in 1905.  read more
