Cameronians Piper's Badge

A white metal glengarry badge for a piper of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) with a (clipped) slider fastening. Gaylor plate 26.

Note: This is the smaller pattern at approximately 65mm wide x 45mm tall, which Gaylor states was worn by the 1st battalion circa 1860-1921.

There appear to be 'scars' where perhaps lug fastenings (east and west) were previously.  read more
