Tyneside Irish Shoulder Title

A scarce (part) shoulder title for the 24th-27th and 30th battalions of The Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Irish) with two lug fastenings (east and west). KK1138 or Wood 480.

Note: In The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badges, Colonel Denis Wood states: "Worn on the shoulder strap of the SD service dress jacket below the battalions' numerals in gilding metal, 24, 25, 26, 27 or 30 and above the letters NF, also in gilding metal."

Note: These units were part of Kitchener's Army.
