RAChD HM Collar Badges

A scarce pair of hallmarked silver collar badges for an officer of The Royal Army Chaplain's Department (Christian Division), each with two lug fastenings (north and south). Hodges p242, reference 7.

Note: The rear appears to carry a manufacturer's mark of W.M.D (William M Duncan of Glasgow?).

The hallmarks are for Birmingham, sterling and the year 1957? One of the hallmarks is a little more prominent than the other.
