5th Foot Glengarry Badge?
A brass glengarry badge for The 5th Foot (later 1st battalion of The Northumberland Fusiliers) with two lug fastenings (north and south). Worn circa 1874-81? This badge has a lot of verdigris and copper lugs. Wood 121.
Note: Colonel Denis Wood, in his book on The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badges discusses this curious badge and says the 'accepted' dates above are "doubtful".
